I provide individual therapy for adults who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, and domestic violence. With a commitment to providing inclusive care, I offer LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapy, as well as support for sexual health and women’s health concerns. I am also happy to offer services in Punjabi or Hindi, in addition to English, and to discuss issues like cultural identity, family expectations, or intergenerational trauma in a culturally responsive way.
I have had experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Currently, my main focus is to work with clients who are 18+.
My Approach
I often take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on interventions from multiple talk-based approaches. These can include the person-centred, Gestalt, cognitive behavioural, dialectical behavioural, mindfulness-based, compassion-focused, acceptance and commitment, narrative, solution-focused, and strengths-based therapeutic approaches. By adopting a holistic lens, I also consider the interplay of biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors to help clients identify and leverage their own strengths, as well as community resources, to meet their goals.
